A WhatsApp message has been sent misusing the name of Mrs Kesena Omakobia and DAC Beachcroft LLP.
What is the scam?
The SRA has seen a WhatsApp message misusing the name of Mrs Kesena Omakobia and DAC Beachcroft LLP. The message had been sent on 13 May 2025 requesting immediate payment of a deposit refund.
The message provides the name of Mrs Omakobia and her SRA ID. Any business or transactions through this message are not undertaken by a firm or individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.
Is there a genuine firm or person?
The SRA does regulate and authorise Mrs Omakobia and DAC Beachcroft LLP.
Mrs Omakobia and DAC Beachcroft LLP have confirmed they do not have any connection to the WhatsApp message referred to in the above alert.
What should I do?
