A document is falsely claiming to be from Amjad Elias Salfiti purporting be a 'Letter of Authority' to allow asylum fingerprinting procedures.
What is the scam?
A document is falsely claiming to be from Amjad Elias Salfiti purporting be a 'Letter of Authority' to allow asylum fingerprinting procedures.
The SRA have seen a document falsely claiming to be from a genuine solicitor (see below) purporting be a 'Letter of Authority' to 'allow and approve the asylum fingerprinting procedures within British territory' and follow legal procedures to obtain and approve residency in the UK.
The document provided an email address of 'lawyeramjadelias@outlook.com', a mobile number of '+447956036216' and an office address based in 'High Holborn Greater London'.
Any business or transaction through the email address 'lawyeramjadelias@outlook.com' and telephone number '+447956036216' is not undertaken by a firm or individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.
Is there a genuine firm or person?
The SRA authorises and regulates a genuine solicitor called Amjad Elias Salfiti.
Amjad Elias Salfiti has confirmed that he does not have any connection to the document referred to in the above alert or any of the contact details provided.
What should I do?
