Lisa Mayhew
Lisa Mayhew is a Partner and Chair Emeritus at the international law firm, BCLP.
She is an employment advisor to employers and leads the Firm's Corporate Reputation Management service for clients.
She was previously the Firmwide Managing Partner of Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP) for 3 years, before leading it into a merger with the US firm Bryan Cave to become BCLP in 2018. She co-led the Firm for 6 years until completing her second and final term at the end of 2023.
Lisa is named as one of only five 'eminent practitioners' in employment law in the UK's Chambers & Partners directory. She is known for defending employers in large and complex employment disputes, including successfully representing Merrill Lynch (as it then was) in the UK's highest value gender discrimination and equal pay claim.
A regular guest speaker at industry events and author of multiple published articles in distinguished publications, Lisa also co-wrote a book published by Sweet & Maxwell on 'Discrimination: Remedies and Quantum'.
